NAME
fitshdr_expand - expand/extend FITS-file header
SYNOPSIS
fitshdr_expand
[options] FITSfile_name
DESCRIPTION
fitshdr_expand
utility allows to expand/extend existent FITS headers.
(FITS MultiExtentionsFiles included).
fitshdr_expand
is just simple shell script around
fitshdr
utility.
OPTIONS
- --header-no=NNN
-
Where
NNN
- FITS-header's number (0,1,...). The number of FITS-header to
modify/expand.
By default 0.
- --add-blocks=MMM
-
Where
MMM
- number of FITS-blocks to add.
By default 1.
- --help
-
Output a brief help message and exit.
- --version
-
Print the version number of
fitshdr_expand
to standard output and exit.
- --nobackups
-
Don't create backup file.
ENVIRONMENT
The variable TMPDIR is used to specify temporary directory path. By default
/tmp is used.
DIAGNOSTICS
On success, zero is returned and non-zero, if an error occurred.
